Wolfeboro Friends of Music's functional activity is predominantly accomplished through the voluntary efforts of area residents. Board members come with a variety of skills and experiences and together, plan, coordinate and participate in the variety of activities that result in musical experiences enriching the lives of people of the area. Because Friends of Music's activities are so diverse, the contributions of board members are also diverse.

Our 2026–2027 season offers another extraordinary lineup of music crossing cultures, generations and genres. We’ll sample the music of the 1960s, classical chamber music, Appalachian traditions, big band sounds, Christmas classics with Irish influences, and high-energy Cajun rhythms. We’ll also explore musical fusions — blending classical, jazz, and rock — along with reimagined Beatles music and an electrifying string guitar performance that brings a fresh perspective to beloved gospel traditions.
While the music is diverse, one thing remains constant: exceptional artistry. You’ll hear international touring performers, Grammy Award winners, and musicians who have earned acclaim from respected critics.
Tickets will go on sale in August — but we know many of you are planners! So, below is next season’s performance schedule. We hope you’ll mark your calendars and invite a friend.
Throughout the summer, we’ll be highlighting our upcoming concerts and sharing
opportunities for you to sample the music. We’ll also tell you about our educational
program explaining traditions and influences behind the music we offer.
Thank you for your continued support of Wolfeboro Friends of Music. We can’t wait to
welcome you — and the friends you bring — for another unforgettable season.
Regards,
Greg Jonas
President
